Coconut M&Ms are the latest craze in specialty-flavored M&M candies. They come in a cream-colored package which is similar to that of the Almond M&M’s, but it’s a bit whiter in color. To go with a tropical theme, the wrapper has a happy Green M&M chilling out on an island beach. Behind Mrs. Green is her mate, hanging out below the obvious coconut tree. What a cute couple. But here’s the problem – Coconut M&M’s are impossible to find! This leaves many people with the burning question, Where Can You Buy Coconut M&M’s?! M&M fanatics have been trying to find out where to buy Coconut M&M’s (with little success) before this limited edition of candies disappears forever. That’s where we turn to the net, and have it all figured out for you – We show you where to buy Coconut M&M’s here, and it ain’t at Target.

When you finally buy and receive your coconut M&M’s, you’ll love the colorful medley of brown, white, and green. The bag is very decorative with little pictures of flowers, suns, and umbrellas. These M&Ms are about the same size and shape as the Peanut Butter ones you would come across at the stores.

However, finding them has been a difficult task for you during your official hunt to find Coconut M&M’s. You’ve been to CVS, Safeway, Costco, Target and even a few professional candy shops but they are no where to be found. If you have been craving coconut and chocolate lately, you’ll definitely want to get your hands on these candies as soon as possible. But we have the links above and to the side just for you!

Ingredients:

2 c flour
3/4 c unsweetened cocoa powder (I used Penzeys Natural Cocoa)
1 tsp baking soda
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 c butter, softened
1/2 c shortening, at room temperature

Chocolate Coconut M&M Cookies

2/3 c granulated sugar
2/3 c packed light brown sugar
1 tsp mexican vanilla extract (Penzeys Mexican Vanilla, of course!)
2 large eggs
1 bag Coconut M&Ms (1 cup for the batter plus the rest for the cookie tops)

Preheat oven to 350 degrees.  Combine flour, cocoa powder, baking soda and salt in a small bowl.  Whisk to combine.

In a large bowl, beat butter and shortening with sugars and vanilla until creamy.  Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each one.  Beat flour mixture into butter/sugar mixture, in 2 or 3 additions.  Stir in M&Ms with a wooden spoon.  Drop by tablespoons (I used a tablespoon-size cookie scoop) onto ungreased cookie sheets.  Add a couple of M&Ms to each cookie.  Bake for 9 or 10 minutes.  Cool on cookie sheet for a minute or two, then remove to wire rack to finish cooling.

Makes 3 dozen cookies.

The coconut works in beautifully with the mexican vanilla and chocolate.

“A candy with a coconut Twist!”

Coconut M&Ms are certainly a new twist to this type of franchise. I absolutely love these types of M&Ms but finding them is difficult these days. I ended up having to order these from Amazon again. The first time I heard of them, I knew that I had hit a goldmine since I am a huge fan of M&Ms and Coconut! This was such a delightful treat for me that I’ll be sure to order again.

” Chewing on Pina Colada”

I managed to find the very last M&M package in the stores and boy, was I lucky. I was told that they won’t be stocking up anymore on these which is a total bummer.
Anyways, when I first bit into the small morsals – I was completely surprised. It tasted just like Pina Colada. You don’t have to eat those shreds of coconut that get stuck in your teeth either. You’ll notice the outer shell is smooth and on the inside is crunch. The exterior is what has the coconut flavor and this is my favorite part!

“Coconut M&Ms make a great gift!”

I recently purchased these M&Ms for my best friend. She was really undecided about the gift I gave her and didn’t know what to think at first because she has never seen these types of M&Ms. Keep in mind she’s been eating M&Ms for years.
